Pet Therapy Volunteer

Here is the criteria we look for:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must have a dog that is at least a year old
  • Must be able to commit to scheduled visits for up to 2 hours a month.
  • Must have own means of transport
  • Must be able to pass a police check

Liaison Officer

Here is the criteria we look for:

  • Preferably have been a visiting member for at least a year or have a good knowledge and understanding of dog behavior.

Assessor

Here is the criteria we look for:

  • Preferably have been a visiting member for at least a year or have a good knowledge and understanding of dog behaviour
  • Must be able to commit to assessing for up to 4 hours a month.

Placement Officer

Here is the criteria we look for:

  • Preferably have been a visiting member for at least a year.
  • Enjoys communicating directly with people face-to-face and by phone
  • Must be able to commit to assisting place new volunteers for up to 4 hours a month

Events Manager

Here is the criteria we look for:

  • Preferably have been a visiting member for at least a year
  • Have excellent communication and event organisation skills
  • Must be able to commit to organising an event every 2 to 3 months.
  • Must be able to attend events or ensure that a suitable delegate is found.

National Committee 

Here is the criteria we look for:

  • Preferably have been a visiting member for at least a year
  • Can commit to attending a monthly 3 hour meeting (in person or online)
  • Can contribute a skill (eg governance, accountancy, social media, website management)
  • Has a passion to see the organisation grow
